Ruth started her career in dentistry in 1984 at the age of 18 at a practice in Deepdale, Preston. Had a career break in 1988 to raise a family and moved to the Scottish Highlands and ran a family business for several years.

On Ruth’s return to Preston she worked for Andrew Kidson as an Orthodontic Nurse until 2016 and enjoyed the before and after transformation that orthodontic work created for both adults and children. Ruth joined Linton Dental in 2016 as a receptionist.
